WAP - What is WAP
WAP is an abbreviation for Wireless Application Protocol. This technology enables devices such as mobile phones and PDAs to communicate with internet servers and retrieve specially-designed content known as WML pages. For a mobile device to be capable of displaying WAP content, it must have a WAP client (program) built-in. This is like a miniature internet-browser. Most new mobile phones are capable of displaying WAP content but, due to limited display and hardware capacity, it is essential that the content and services are chosen carefully. Most common services are e-banking (access to your bank account), various types of travel information, hotel reservations, dictionaries and news headlines. To the multiplicity of services available, IBS offers immediate access to God's Word.

New Bibles in 2007
In 2007 IBS Europe will be releasing two new first edition Bibles in Europe - Russian and Romanian.
Following the elaborate development process and rigid methodology, we will be happy to offer high
standard translations that use modern language while representing accuracy and faithfulness to the
original texts. Both equipped with a wealth of footnotes, these translations are targeted to be used
by new believers, for outreach and evangelism, especially among young people, as well as for general reading.
If you are a church, ministry or organization, contact us for ministry pricing, samples, formats, and to request
availability information.
