WAP - Content preview

Four WAP resources are currently available. These are Bible Online, Daily Manna, Shop catalogue, and Office information. Let's take a detailed look at each of these:

1. Bible online - browse Bible text in 14 languages

After selecting the Bible Online option from the main screen, you get a choice of 'Bible browser' or 'Passage search.' The first option launches a sequence of screens on which to select language, Testament (Old or New), book name and finally chapter. The Bible text then appears in the chosen language. The second option provides a direct gateway to a desired passage based on your input in a format such as John 3:16.

2. Daily Manna - daily devotional in 8 languages

Our long-established and popular devotional service, Daily Manna, is now available on mobile phones. That makes your Scripture verses accessible anywhere, at any time. God's Word of encouragement has never been closer.

3. Shop catalogue - direct link to E-Commerce

This resource is only available from existing IBS online shops. Currently our E-Commerce system covers Germany, Sweden, the UK, and there is an IBS Europe shop located in Sweden. Availability of this service is limited because the format cannot contain full catalogues as they appear online. Home Pages can be accessed and there may be a Daily Specials section, plus prices and product descriptions. Also available is an online order-tracking feature.

4. Office information

We provide basic information on IBS offices in different areas of the world, including address, telephone and fax numbers, plus e-mail contact details. Links to national or area web sites facilitate reaching us with questions or other requests.

New Bibles in 2007

In 2007 IBS Europe will be releasing two new first edition Bibles in Europe - Russian and Romanian. Following the elaborate development process and rigid methodology, we will be happy to offer high standard translations that use modern language while representing accuracy and faithfulness to the original texts. Both equipped with a wealth of footnotes, these translations are targeted to be used by new believers, for outreach and evangelism, especially among young people, as well as for general reading.
