Press Release Detail
IBS Initiative Encourages Churches to Emphasize Biblical Principles17.02.2003 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado--International Bible Society (IBS) will launch a new ministry initiative, The Ezra Network, at the Promise Keepers Pastor's Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Tuesday through Thursday.
Pastors who serve on IBS' staff developed The Ezra Network to help other pastors study and apply the Bible in their daily lives--and then teach the same principles to their congregations. The principles behind the project come from Ezra 7:10: For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.
Stan Kellner, Director of Church Relations for IBS, says, "Our Church Relations staff, who developed The Ezra Network, have more than 72 years of combined pastoral ministry experience. We intimately understand the challenges of the pastorate and keeping the Word fresh in our lives. Just as Ezra did, we want pastors to infuse the Scriptures into every aspect of their own lives as well as into their churches."
Pastors who want to deepen their own relationship with God through Scripture and equip their congregations to apply the Bible in their lives can order a ministry kit from The Ezra Network. The kit contains four powerful sermon outlines, each highlighting the need to personally apply God's Word and then encourage others to do the same; booklets filled with statistics, quotes, Bible verses, stories and other helpful material to support each sermon outline; bulletin inserts, and other collateral materials.
For more information on The Ezra Network, go to www.ezranetwork.org or call IBS at 1-877-FOR-EZRA.
International Bible Society, founded in 1809, faithfully translates, publishes and reaches out with God's Word so that people around the world may become disciples of Jesus Christ and members of His Body.Related links:

Following the elaborate development process and rigid methodology, we will be happy to offer high
